How to Add Page Number Starting from any Specific Page In Microsoft Word 2013

As we know Microsoft office is one of the most powerful tool for business as well as educational purposes because it provide the best functionalities for information  sorting, analyzing etc. but getting knowledge of all the functions of MS- Office is not an easy task.


Some time lack of knowledge might cause trouble for us. For example- Inserting Page number in between the documents or in any specific page. It can be a bit tricky to use page number in MS- Word so don't worry  I will show you how you can quickly add those number at any specific page you need, so here we go.....

1) Suppose we want to add page number here



2) Go to Page Layout



3) Now click on break and select next page break



4) Then Go to insert



5) Click on Page Number


6) Now Click where you Want to display the page Number


7) In my Case I am selecting bottom of the page



8) As You can see It showing 7 Number but i want 1 Number here



9) Then go to Insert tab and select the Page Number


 

10) Click on format Page Number



11) Click on start at 1



 12) Now you can see Current Page Has Been indexed as Page Number 1




  13)  Go to design tab and click Link to Previous ( Make sure that it is  De-highlight)




14) And Finally go to Previous Page and select the page Number And Select the Delete Button on Keyboard


15) As you can see all the Previous Page Number Have been deleted




16) And You can see that above page is now as Page No 1 and so on....
